I did. It does not disagree with what I said.

I just think free markets are always better than regulated and restricted markets. Someone here said laissez faire is the cause of Dutch Disease, AND that laissez faire doesn't work. I disagree somewhat on the first point, as the level of government involvement in international trade is significant, as is the foreign aid aspect.So how can you blame laissez faire when it's NOT?

@Vox @greyknight @h4890 @EvolLove @cjd @FourOh-LLC

"I just think free markets are always better than regulated and restricted markets."

I tend to agree here. Government intervention creates negative externalities that are recouped by higher costs.

Not just dysfunctional, but unfair.

@amerika @h4890 @greyknight @Vox @cjd @FourOh-LLC

All the green projects in the western world are Marxist projects. They are all one way or another payed for with tax money, subsidized.

And that is why risk investors and oligarchs flock to these projects. Because they are guaranteed huge profit no mater if they fail or not.

After a few initial years the government support dries up and they all magically fail like a clockwork.

And they made out like bandits on taxes, subsidizes

@EvolLove @h4890 @greyknight @Vox @cjd @FourOh-LLC

And selling the stock to VCs and other investors...

@amerika @h4890 @greyknight @Vox @cjd @FourOh-LLC

And this is where it gets worse. Selling the stock to VCs.

Well listen to this

Our green project owners, huge wind. solar, green steel, battery. You know what they do?

just before their green scam is bankrupt, like 6 months before. They sell their stock, that they have inflated with the help of the MARXIST MEDIA and subsidizes

The outcome of governments trying to regulate the market. the market takes control of the government

@EvolLove @h4890 @greyknight @Vox @cjd @FourOh-LLC

I can't prove it but I think it's the same here.

The business model is developing an investment built on government cash that can then be sold at top value before the crash.

@amerika @h4890 @greyknight @Vox @cjd @FourOh-LLC

Oligarchs are quick to learn this and will on their end promote media and ideology based think tanks to further these balloons.

This is why I say that Oligarchy and Socialism goes hand in hand.

Not that Capitalism would end all oligarchy but it is very convenient for Oligarchs with a never ending fire hose of tax money and freshly printed money. (Socialism)

The people get screwed twice. First their taxes and then their savings.

@amerika @EvolLove @greyknight @Vox @cjd @FourOh-LLC

Does it need proof? I think it is kind of obvious like gravity or that we are breathing air.

Another european business I can tell you about, is companies who specializing in getting ear marked political euros for complete B.S. such as cultural research, feminist architecture, and so on and so on.

And believe it or not, but companies can actually exist only faking their way to this money. There is no control what so ever!

@h4890 @amerika @greyknight @Vox @cjd @FourOh-LLC

This is the reason I had to give up being a designer.

My life work is basically collecting dust now. Because I'm not a faggot or a woman or a Muslim immigrant.

So I don't check any of the victimhood game checkmarks. Which means I will never make it.

When Trump was president I thought the western world was turning back to sanity. It gave me some hope.

Now I'm working constriction full time. And som probably keep doing so.

@EvolLove @amerika @greyknight @Vox @cjd @FourOh-LLC

I'm sorry to hear that. =( When I got tired of the BS I started my own company, and things improved.

Maybe you should start your own company? Then you can at least choose your own customers.

@h4890 @EvolLove @greyknight @Vox @cjd @FourOh-LLC

Society might be a lot better if everyone started their own company instead of working a job.

@amerika @EvolLove @greyknight @Vox @cjd @FourOh-LLC

Oh yes! Even people who remain on salary I encourage to at least think of themselves as entrepreneurs and one-person companies. That mindset brings more independence.

@h4890 @EvolLove @greyknight @Vox @cjd @FourOh-LLC

Something about The Job ruins people. Go in, do what is expected, get more demoralized, go home.

@amerika @EvolLove @greyknight @Vox @cjd @FourOh-LLC

This is very interesting. I think this is a good example of a "mental prison". You are trained from an early age to get a career. Work hard, advance through the ranks, and your reward will come when you become a manager.

I would say that this mind ghost affects most, if not all, people in western europe and the parts of asia that idolize europe.

@amerika @EvolLove @greyknight @Vox @cjd @FourOh-LLC

Very few people ever think outside that predefined box. And of the ones who do, very few have the chance to actually take the risk to try it.

It is sad, but socialism has beaten any acceptance of risk out of so many human beings, that they prefer to remain slaves to the state over any ounce of risk taking, with potential big rewards.

@amerika @EvolLove @greyknight @Vox @cjd @FourOh-LLC

This is why politicians hate entrepreneurs and rich people, because they show it is possible to break free from the state.

Politicians find it painful to meet people who don't have to obey them, due to their wealth and corporate empires.

@h4890 @EvolLove @greyknight @Vox @cjd @FourOh-LLC

Socialism, feminism, diversity... all threads of equality.

Perhaps equality itself demoralizes?

@amerika @h4890 @greyknight @Vox @cjd @FourOh-LLC

They want equal outcome.

Meaning that no matter how hard U work, could be not at all, could be overtime and skills to the max, everyone should get the same outcome.

@EvolLove @h4890 @greyknight @Vox @cjd @FourOh-LLC

Equality of opportunity is only "proven" to exist by equality of outcome.

It's a mental trap created for tards by tards (FTBT).

@amerika @EvolLove @greyknight @Vox @cjd @FourOh-LLC

This could very well be. Equality goes against nature, and implementing governance structures that go against human nature, and the laws of nature for that matter, creates enormously inefficient governance.

We have the results of huge experiments on that theme. They are called the soviet union, venezuela and north korea.

@h4890 @EvolLove @greyknight @Vox @cjd @FourOh-LLC

And we cannot forget Cuba, Cambodia, Vietnam, and of course the French arc from the Bastille through the Jacobins and Napoleon.

Then there's the data from the ancient world.

Equality is insane. We need hierarchy because only hierarchy lets us live normal lives without interference, since hierarchy emphasizes excellence over flattering others.
@h4890 @EvolLove @greyknight @Vox @cjd @FourOh-LLC

School helps convince us to be broken like cattle.

In my view, people idealize Western Civilization because it worked so much better than everything else.

Of course, since that time we have reversed the causes of our success!

@amerika @EvolLove @greyknight @Vox @cjd @FourOh-LLC

The wests current position and wealth is based on science, freedom and industrialization.

I agree with you, the politicians are currently trying hard to dismantle all three of those things.

@h4890 @EvolLove @greyknight @Vox @cjd @FourOh-LLC

"Freedom" has nothing to do with it. Sorry, I know that's your catch-all, but the people who built the West understood the term far differently.

The West rose under hierarchy and cause-effect thinking. We of all races wanted to understand how the world worked and why.

This is why we got ahead: we were more realistic and insisted on goals above the personal.

With democracy, you get only personal and group goals, no sense of purpose.

@amerika @EvolLove @greyknight @Vox @cjd @FourOh-LLC

With freedom I mean, among other things, the freedom to choose your goal, choose your research, debate your research, criticize ideas etc.

That is why free societies push mankind forward and why authoritarian societies never invent anything and instead retrogress.

@h4890 @EvolLove @greyknight @Vox @cjd @FourOh-LLC

This is not accurate unfortunately. The Nazis pushed us forward a great deal, as did the Soviets. The problem with authoritarian societies IMHO is instability.

Freedom is a byproduct of order. With sensible order, no one needs to interfere with choices that you can make. The serfs will remain serfs because by definition they cannot do anything else.

Or we can elect them to office, I suppose.

@amerika @h4890 @EvolLove @greyknight @cjd @FourOh-LLC

But if serfs are condemned to remain serfs, society misses out on the benefits of meritocracy. Not that we have that now, with all the artificial infusion of "equity", but it's still theoretically possible.

@Vox @h4890 @EvolLove @greyknight @cjd @FourOh-LLC

There was meritocracy in feudalism.

It did however recognize genetic determinism and so was very gradual.

@amerika @EvolLove @greyknight @Vox @cjd @FourOh-LLC

It also, in some places, led to inbreeding, such as in austria and the UK royal family.

@amerika @EvolLove @greyknight @Vox @cjd @FourOh-LLC

My defense is that the question of freedom is not binary, it is a continuum. Also note that a lot of the research that came to fruition within the nazi regime started before the nazi regime.

von Braun didn't sneeze the rocket out of his nose, and prior to the nazis, and even in the beginning of nazis rule, there were spots of freedom.

@h4890 @EvolLove @greyknight @Vox @cjd @FourOh-LLC

The question of freedom is inseparable from the other parts of the civilization bundle.

You need leadership, culture, and free markets to be "free."

Your leadership -- if they are actual leaders -- recognize that dicking with people over everyday decisions is destructive and therefore to be avoided.

@amerika @EvolLove @greyknight @Vox @cjd @FourOh-LLC

I think this risks devolving into semantics and definition. I think we discussed culture, and possibly freedom before, and depending on the situation and definitions I vaguely remember agreeing and disagreeing. ;)

Culture is a notoriously difficult concept to pin down. And when it comes to freedom, I only need to be able to do what I want. That does not require a "leader", in fact I loathe leaders, and if one is required,

@h4890 @amerika @greyknight @Vox @cjd @FourOh-LLC

I have run my own company for the last 15 years.

But without state media you will never make it as a designer.

Well that would be by using social media such as Instagram. But they are even more feminist anti white pro gay and islam oriented.

You have to check at least one box.

But alas. I am my own boss, I work construction and I get to choose my own customers. And every project is usually 3-5 weeks up to 3 months.

@EvolLove @h4890 @greyknight @Vox @cjd @FourOh-LLC

Sounds ideal. Maybe you could help each other? Everyone needs designers and constructors.

@EvolLove @amerika @greyknight @Vox @cjd @FourOh-LLC

It does sounds like a better situation to be in.

Another trick if design work is more where you want to go, is to broaden your market. Maybe there are better jobs/projects available internationally?

@h4890 @EvolLove @greyknight @Vox @cjd @FourOh-LLC

We could mention most of Big Tech in here too, at least for the last fifteen years. Government endorses their use, but are they really contributing to the economy, or just to the speculators?

@amerika @EvolLove @greyknight @Vox @cjd @FourOh-LLC

They contribute, but, definitely _not_ on the scale most people think.

For an interesting experiment, try to subtract all the public customers of big tech, and watched all of them shrink.

On a darker note, they are very bad for innovation. Due to their dominance they are like a big blanket over european tech innovation, since they lower their prices to drive out competition.

That is of course not the only reason europe is

@amerika @EvolLove @greyknight @Vox @cjd @FourOh-LLC

doing badly, but it is one factor. They use the money they receive from their government contract, to price competition out of the market.

Despite that, I have beaten them sometimes, even while being more expensive, but it certainly adds to the challenge.
