@inscius @Hillbillywhisperer I'm thinking nowadays it's "you got paged" pumpkin
@ThatCrazyDude @Hillbillywhisperer Uh oh..
A propos (i.e. "segway"), one Japanese word for pager is "pokeberu" (pocket bell). Don't think they thought of those huge loud bells...
@inscius @Hillbillywhisperer nah, I don't think they did. They were probably thinking about poking bears! I mean, if manga gives you a boner, why not a bear?
@ThatCrazyDude Ok, I admit your humor is even sillier than mine! :me takes a knee: @Hillbillywhisperer
@ThatCrazyDude Btw, lots of bears in Japan. @Hillbillywhisperer
@ThatCrazyDude The Ainu did bear sacrfice. The Japanese are not that much into hunting. Can see wildlife in unexpected places. Bears wouldn't be allowed near big towns, I think. But e.g. I once saw a wild boar stand at a local bus stop in urban mountain side of Kobe. Still makes me chuckle. @Hillbillywhisperer
@inscius @Hillbillywhisperer well, they're enough into hunting to have vending machines with bear meat. Gotta respect that!
But it's still nothing as far as wildlife go. I've seen wild boar more than once in the center of goddamn Rome!
@ThatCrazyDude Oh! That's impressive. Sure it wasn't a tourist from one of those hairier countries? :p We have moose occasionally getting into cities here. Usually young males. The females are stationary, esp if the have a calf. A friend of my brother took a walk in our smaller town and looked up and it was a wolf in front of him. Another confused youngster. That is rare tho. @Hillbillywhisperer
@inscius @Hillbillywhisperer check this out! I just spotted Zuckerberg on my goddamn ceiling!
@ThatCrazyDude LOL! Haven't seen one in decades, but I concur. Preliminary. @Hillbillywhisperer
