When on a jury, it is your absolute right, and in my opinion duty, to nullify unconstitutional and unjust laws by rendering a "not guilty" verdict.

Jury nullification is the only viable non-violent solution to government tyranny in post-Constitutional America, and only requires convincing 10% of the (local) population.

Government says "you must use our money".

Government delegates control of said "money" to a coalition of private banks.

Banks print as much money as they want and give it to themselves for free via the FED.

Banks buy real assets with the free money, like houses, and force people to pay for it with (front-loaded) interest.

You pay the banks with the "money" you got by trading your time, your literal life-force, but only after being taxed on income and purchase.

This makes sense, right?

People that dump trash on the side of the road are scum. It's a step beyond the "grocery cart test".

Throw an apple core out the window? No problem boss.

Let your dog piss on my mailbox? A little aggravating, but fine, whatever.

Let your dog shit in my yard? I'm putting up a sign.

Throw cans and bottles on my yard? I'm putting up cameras and I'm gonna find you.

Dump entire trash bags full of your garbage? I hope you have a direct line to the national guard, pal.

Pulled the tree node down before the rain arrived and sealed it up.

Super simple solar node with easily accessible parts and no soldering.

Uses an 8.5dbi Rokland antenna (way overkill), T-echo, Voltaic power bank, and (not pictured) two cheap 6W solar panels in series with a 5V USB output.

Antenna and type-N port were electrical taped and then covered with liquid electrical tape.

I previously had the panels hanging loose, so next task is fixing that.

It probably makes more sense to put a relay on a timer that shorts the NTC after a second or two, so I won't need any active cooling.

Sparky sparkies:

Is there any reason I can't connect a(n appropriately spec'd) NTC Inrush Current Limiter in series with one of the 120v leads that powers my 240v well pump to create a soft-starter?

The well pump is connected to a pressure tank, so the only concern is (perhaps actively) cooling during off-cycle to ensure that they're not hot (low resistance) during subsequent cycles, right?

Is there any reason this won't work?

> Use Sketchup 2017

Why isn't the push-pull tool creating solid objects? Why is the base part of the component for the skids I just extruded gone? Ugh, I hate what Google did to this once-free software.

> Use FreeCAD

Why is it so complicated to align objects? Why does it take 8 clicks? What are all these "workbenches"? I just want to stick frame. Ugh, this is too open source.

> Use OpenSCAD

After four years of work, I finally have a parametric shed. Unitless? How do I measure in imperial?

Batteries are expensive. Lumber is expensive. Starlink is expensive.

So... a long way to say I DO want your money to help improve NAS, but I'm a one-man-show with a lot of spinning plates.

And speaking of, thank you @Cousin_Vito for your letter and contribution. I hadn't been to the PO box in a very long time, so I'm sure this is very belated. Thank you very much!

In addition to the "easy" way to improve reliability, there is one thing I've been considering for a while but can't justify as a personal expense: move NAS out of my basement and into a shed equipped with backup power (solar) and a backup WAN (starlink).

This would provide power and Internet redundancies in addition to removing the present flood risk (it's all in my basement).

I've been re-learning Sketchup and it's in the planning stages, but I don't have the budget to make this happen.

I will NOT be selling and distributing NAS gift sets before the end of the year.

I apologize to anyone who was looking forward to this.

Nothing I made or stocked is perishable.

The "Fund NAS this year" plan is now the "Fund NAS next year" plan. Again.

As a consolation, here's a what I plan to do with funds, once we're there:

Consider

> What's new, EWU Crew.

> In today's episode, we reveal shocking never-before-seen footage of interviews surrounding an Arizona pedophile schoolteacher who abused a 13 year old boy during the government school day while playing CNN 10 to distract the other children so she could shove his hand up her vagina.

These people are lucky I'm not king. I count three executable offenses.

Don't want to celebrate victory prematurely (again), but the new O-ring and silicone grease seems to have done the trick: no more vigorous spraying at the pit adapter inside the well.

Someone mentioned it in another thread, but had I contacted a plumber I'm sure I would have been told "your pump is dead" and been out $3k.

Excluding labor, total cost of the repair was ~$12.

If you're using a web browser for NAS, the next time your cache clears/expires you should notice that the annoying "Hide" button on the right of all images is gone. It's actually still there, but you have to hover over it for it to become visible.

Thanks @exvacate!

O-ring’s not lookin’ so good, fellas.

Seems to be 1.5” ID, 1.75” OD, 1/8 CS. I have an SAE assortment kit, but no silicone grease.

The prophecy has been fulfilled, the singularity avoided: this project has required two trips to the hardware store.

Extremely niche poll, but relevant to recent discussions. How deep is your well?
