Had 30 years of insomnia. It was literally hell.

I fixed it in 3 years and it stayed fixed.

I stopped eating sugar. zero sugar in food, no sweat drinks no candy. And I didn't replace it with some sugar free stuff.

It took 3 days and then I started to sleep really good.

After 2 years I started to eat some sugar again. Still do but I am a little bit mindful about it. That is all.

@EvolLove @Murray_N @walkman Just a question. Are your (plural) problems hard to go to sleep? Or disrupted sleep? Myself I hardly ever have the first, but the second type.

All the above for me. If I lay in bed for more than 30 mins staring at ceiling? I get up and do something---walk around house; outside something. and try again 45 mins later. Drives wife nuts but thats the world I live in.

Not Keto but have a friend who started that 8 month ago. He has lot a lot of weight. 13kg I'll be sure to tell him.

There's something called KETO flu where your body is craving carbs; best way I've curbed is a couple teaspoons of OliveOil and electrolytes. Combine that with fasting; works wonder for mind and body.

Mine was hard to fall asleep. Even after training at the gym and working constructions. In the end I slept 1-2 hours per night in the week.

All of those problems are gone now. Been sleeping good for 12 straight years now.

I sometimes fall asleep before ten in the evening and I sometimes wake up half past four in the morning. Well rested and in the mood for my first cup of coffee.

I had to read the label of everything. And that is how I realized that there were high amounts of sugar added in almost everything.

I didn't even drink juice squash fruit drink sap syrup. In the beginning the first days, I mixed sweet drinks with extra water. But that soon became to sweet, it was really strange. Like I suddenly was able to taste natural sweetness.

Even sliced cucumber was sweet.

I heard JCD talk about that the other day. Dry Wine. I had no idea that it was so little sugar.

For being that little the taste isn't half bad :feelsgoodman:

My stomach can't handle wine though. I really like it but I always start puking. I have to stick to beers.
