Nobody should be mad about Elon calling Americans retards.
People are right to be mad about him calling for the importation of more browns to clean toilets and work as 40k/yr "laborers" in an Amazon warehouse.
But fact is, he's right: Americans are retarded.
If Americans weren't collectively retarded, we wouldn't be in this position. We're so content and chock-full from breads and circuses that we either refuse to face reality or are incapable of doing so.
If that is the reason Americans are in the position they're in, then the kindness, love, and good will has been so thoroughly exploited by malevolent forces that not recognizing that as such means it itself is either weakness or retardation. Given the premise, I prefer to conclude it's the latter.
@eriner Americans are smug. Where not much better. But the smuggness and excuse making is probably the root cultural issue
@eriner I think by the mid 90’s with the birth of the internet and the social illusion we were ready to be led like lambs to the intellectual slaughter. Lots of things set us on the path for downfall over the preceding decades, drugs, divorce, stupefied music, the trend-setting depravity of Hollywood, materialism. The 60’s were a moral turning point. Looking back, there are just too many ruins to cite along the path to where we are.
@eriner most people, everywhere
@eriner to be fair, Americans have received the strongest propaganda, subversion, discrimination, law fare, and bio warfare (food quality, drugs) since Stalin - or possibly greater.
There has been heaps of organic resistance, but the beast is bloody powerful, especially since they got their hands on the fed.
You're right, though - the bread and circus has made it too easy for the 95% to coast along.
@eriner yeah this whole shitstorm is because two separate issues are being conflated; one short-term policy based and one long-term culturally based.
Both sides are yelling at each other in different languages.
@gr1mr33p3r "short term" is a phrase people use to justify Evil.
