Just a reminder, the exploding pagers is another in a long line of terrorist campaigns by Israel. It is counter to international law, and further highlights their complete disregard for the safety of innocent people.

@freemo Not a fan of Israel but name a faction fighting anywhere on the planet that has regard for the safety of innocent people. War crime? Probably. But "It's never a war crime the first time" -Fat Electrician

@AlphaKiloPapa Most wars have some regard for the safety of innocents. For example there are countless examples of battles where schools were in the battle zone and both commanders agreed to move.

It is virtually unheard of to set off bombs on individuals in non military zones without awareness to the surroundings the bomb will go off in.

@freemo Muslims blow themselves up in crowds of innocent people all the time... It's like, their biggest stereotype...

@AlphaKiloPapa

Are you trying to claim that is and should be the norm in war and acceptable? I dont find it any more acceptable when they do it.

AlphaKiloPapa☭⃠

@freemo No, but condemning one side for something the other side does regularly does no good. For anybody.

@AlphaKiloPapa

I have called out the palestinians when they did it, and called out the israli on the many times they did it as well.

You expect someone to mention every offense caused by everyone when you are pointing out the offense of a recent event? That seems counter productive we would be here all day.

@freemo This all started with you feeling the need to point out the fact that Israel's tactics are basically a war crime. Excuse me for pointing out that this whole war was started by Hamas commiting... War crimes...

@AlphaKiloPapa Well no, the war started with Israel invading a country that had people living on it for 2000 some years. It also started with them engaging in biological warfare in an attempt to exterminate the Palestinians before the initial invasion really took off.

So no, painting the Palestinians and Hamas as the ones who started it is far from accurate. They have of course done plenty of wrong and more than their fair share of terrorism to counter Israel's terrorism. But they were **not** the aggressors.

Even most recently with the October attacks, it was specifically provoked by 2 events: 1) Israel, despite being at peace at the time, continued to steal land from Palestine and set up Jewish settlements 2) Committed murder for several of their leaders during a time of peace. So literally no matter how you dice it Israel started this war with terrorist acts, Palestine has responded with the same. Neither side is right, but Israel is the aggressor here for sure.
