Like I said- on a long enough timeline you will inevitably become that which you hate. I don't make the rules- I'm just your friendly neighborhood intermediary and we're on that timeline right now. #vote #electionday #Election2024
you're not a felon until you're sentenced.
@spacemanspiff whatever the cope is these may be the two biggest scumbag candidates the uniparty has ever offered
you may not like him, and that's your right, but facts are facts.
@spacemanspiff Like how he shutdown the country over the flu? Father of the jab? Didn't lock her up? Debased the currency? Enacted anti-2A laws with bump stock ban & ERPOs? Larry Fink's & Netanyahu's cuck? Those are some killer facts.
@spacemanspiff Unpack the currency debasement....
so I'll first admit that you chose the topic on which I'm probably most in agreement with you.
it blows my mind that we're borrowing to cover INTEREST payments on the same damn debt. if it wasn't hopeless when he arrived, it sure was when he left.
I would advise an individual in that situation to make painful, sweeping changes.
I'm sympathetic to the argument that judges/unions won't allow gutting of government, BUT he didn't even give it lip service, let alone try.
with the overton window having been gang-raped to the left, can we realistically expect to elect a president who isn't? 1992 clinton would be mocked today by the left. even JFK would be center-right. insert obligatory back and to the left joke.
TLDR there's no voting out of this mess.
I agree. my Trump vote is me pulling the emergency brake on a runaway train with everything I have.
we can allude to alternatives to voting all we want, but between people who have too much to lose, are marshmallowy soft, dependent on the government, etc., that's not going to happen without some black swan event.
and at this point I think it's equally or more likely to accelerate the descent into serfdom, not reverse it.
So basically voting is a shaming ritual.
in part, yes. locally less so.
